The magnolia, a classic sign of welcome in the south and an elegant, familiar image in the interior.
Play off the creamy white and yellow, accented with black to coordinate the entire room. For sounds; birds, light rain and light wind would be great.
Keep in mind that Silent Safari style means bringing the outdoors inside. Classic design, classic art, with classic sound ... instant relaxation.

When designing around a special piece of art, it's more than just pulling colors from the art itself into the room. Find the mood of the art ... in this case, it spoke to me of classic, soft, and transitional. The mood of the art is reflected in the rug and enhanced by the thought of the gemstone Opal. Soft blush pink and grey add calm to the room. Also, the shapes within the art are reflected in the lamps, the pendant lighting, and the Ammonite (fossil shell). Wearing opal jewelry, a silk blouse in blush pink, and soft suede shoes, speak decisively about the mood of this room.

"Adrift" is the original art by Silent Safari, and the mood of this design is free ... floating ... drifting. But, not drifting aimlessly. The colors are subdued coral and citrine ... the shapes soft, and the lines follow the shapes in the objects within the art. Notice how the rug's pattern flows, the ghost chairs transparent colors drift, and other decorative items join in the journey.
