On location during Magic Hour … a period, dusk and beyond, and twilight after sunset. Recording sights and sounds during these moments are a rewarding adventure and an added bonus.
This is a truly special time of day. Both lighting and ambient nature sounds are especially unique and pure. If you find a location where man made noise is at a minimum, allow your eyes and ears to feast on the subtle natural symphony. In addition to the obvious remote locations, it is always a pleasant surprise to discover locations close to our own communities.
As time moves toward darkness, remember to relish the moment. Sunrise is just a few short hours away.
